Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to create a Monicircle account. This is placeholder content prepared for design purposes and has not been reviewed by legal counsel.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Certain actions, including membership activation, require a verified phone identity. Monicircle may suspend access to features that depend on verification if it cannot be completed or is later found to be inaccurate.

Admins may create groups and configure rules such as contribution amount, frequency, grace periods and penalties, subject to any limits Monicircle applies to protect members and the platform.

Admins are responsible for managing their group's rules, membership and records within Monicircle's platform controls. Monicircle does not participate in the underlying relationships between group members.

Membership in a group may require activation, including verification and, where applicable, payment of a disclosed activation fee. Group admins determine additional membership rules within supported platform features.

Community Savings is free to start. Certain actions, such as membership activation or payment processing, may carry fees that are disclosed before you incur them. We do not hide transaction or payment-provider fees.

Where payments are processed, they may be handled through third-party, appropriately regulated payment providers. Monicircle's technology services are distinct from the regulated payment services those providers deliver.

Monicircle may rely on third-party providers for services such as payments, messaging and hosting. Your use of those services may be subject to the provider's own terms in addition to these Terms.

You agree to use Monicircle honestly and in accordance with your group's rules, to keep member information accurate, and to promptly report any suspected unauthorized activity.

• Providing false identity or membership information.
• Using the platform for money laundering or other unlawful activity.
• Attempting to bypass role permissions or access controls.
• Interfering with the operation or security of the platform.

Disputes about contributions or payouts within a group are first addressed using the group's recorded activity and any dispute-resolution process the admin makes available. Unresolved platform-level disputes are handled as described in these Terms.

Monicircle may suspend or restrict an account that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or is required to be restricted by law, while we investigate or resolve the issue.

You may stop using Monicircle at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to the platform for material breach of these Terms, subject to any notice required by law.

Monicircle and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, including its software, design and branding. You retain rights to the content and records you or your group create.

We aim to keep Monicircle available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates or events outside our control may affect availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monicircle is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, except where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice before they take effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, unless a different governing law is required by applicable regulation.
